A three-course plated luncheon will be served. Free parking is available at the New Haven Lawn Club, which is handicap and ADA Accessible, and on the Yale Shuttle and CT Transit bus lines.
Erik Clemons brings an extensive background in inclusive non-profit management and organizational leadership, as well as invaluable expertise on building and supporting healthy communities. As CEO of ConnCORP—Connecticut Community Outreach and Revitalization Program, a non-profit organization based on the model of Bill Strickland’s National Center for Arts and Technology—Erik leads the organization’s strategy to create arts-based educational environments for at-risk public-school students and market-relevant career training programs for under and unemployed adults. Prior to joining ConnCORP, Erik was executive director of Leadership, Education, and Athletics in Partnership (LEAP), an academic and social enrichment program for children and youth in New Haven, dedicated to developing the strengths and talents of young leaders. Erik holds a BS from Southern Connecticut State University and a MA from Hartford Seminary.
